February, 2000. Nancy and I head to the U.S. Virgin Islands. We have decided to skip the hassle of a more formal wedding, and to get married on the beach. The island we chose is St. John. We booked, prior to arrival and by means of the internet, a preacher ( Anne Marie Porter ), a photographer, and a guitarist.
Rather than staying in a hotel, we decided to rent a house ( Blue Heaven Rendevous ). It is beautiful, with three bedrooms, a big living room, a big kitchen, and a hot tub on a balcony overlooking the Caribbean (and St. Thomas). The house is a couple of miles outside of town, so we have to rent a jeep, four-wheel drive being very necessary.
